New Maryland Law Updates Lien Notification Process for Self-Storage Operators
Governor Wes Moore has signed a bill modifying Maryland’s self-storage lien law, which takes effect June 1, 2024. The change eliminates the initial requirement in the rental agreement that operators notify tenants they may advertise lien sales in a method other than a newspaper.
