Most facility management software checks the basics. Fewer platforms give operators the full picture, tracking whether you're under compliance, confirming mailing receipts, and verifying your newspaper ad timing meets your jurisdiction's specific requirements. Andre was direct about what happens when that visibility is missing: a small number of units that go the wrong way can turn into a genuinely bad situation, fast, with judges and case law that don't always show mercy.
The fix isn't more paperwork. It's a system that gives operators a clear, complete view before a small compliance gap turns into a costly one.
Security Isn't a Checkbox
The article also covered a broader theme running through the whole industry right now: as more tools become available to operators, more tools become available to people looking to misuse them. Protecting tenant and business data takes real investment and constant attention, not a one-time setup.
